Designed and hand-built by the owner, The Hermitage derived its name from its location; as it offers plenty of privacy, nestled on the edge of a Ponderosa Pine forest. Just the perfect setting for either a romantic get-away or for private family lodgings.
It is tastefully decorated with a houseful of authentic antiques; creating a truly turn-of-the-century ambiance, but appointed with numerous modern amenities that include a full kitchen, complete with dishes, pots and authentic cast iron pans, a microwave, a 27” TV with a DVD player, a stereo CD player, land line phone, and an outdoor gas Bar-B-Que.
After settling in, go explore the forest below, noting the wildlife signs and the calm serenity of the captivating Ponderosa forest. Each season displays different wild flowers for your enjoyment. Both deer and wild turkeys pass through the front yard virtually daily, especially early in the morning and near dusk.
